Born in Montana and raised in South Dakota, I spent the next 20+ years looking for someplace warmer! I joined the Navy after a few months in college and through 24 years of naval service I have met wonderful people and traveled the world. Hopefully this background has given me something that I can turn in to meaningful Hub Pages!

I am starting out slowly with those things I love; my cats and books. I have been an avid reader all my life and nothing makes a book better than a cat snuggled up in your lap!
